About Quigney Rate Payers & Residence Association
The QRPRA was established to represent the Ratepayers and Residents of Quigney, to ensure good governance from the Municipality irrespective of political allegiance. The association is a non-political, non-racial, non-profit organization with legal standing in terms of its constitution and it can also function in accordance with Section 5 of the Municipal Systems function No. 32 of 2000.
Our Mission
To actively engage with local and provincial authorities in order to safeguard and improve the necessary service delivery standards and ensure that the assets of all ratepayers are managed responsibly.
To challenge and take action against maladministration and corruption and where possible, holding those personally accountable to account for their conduct and actions.
To challenge policy and regulations environment as and when deemed as irrational, inappropriate or ineffective for their intended purpose.
To collaborate with communities and authorities to enhance service delivery.
